REVILLAGING FOR MODERN MOTHERS

Nurturing day-long retreats for mommas

MOVEMENT. CONNECTION. STORY. SONG. STILLNESS

This retreat is for mothers of all ages and stages looking to fill their cup with self-connection, community-building, and normalizing the challenges of motherhood. It is for women who long to feel witnessed and validated, find companionship and kinship, and process our lives using timeless ways of healing. (Movement, Community, Singing, Nature, Stillness).

Join us in reimagining a “ReVillaged” and nourishing version of Motherhood

You’ll love this retreat especially if you want:

  • To have a whole day (or more!) of not being needed, clean up after no-one (besides yourself), and self-reflect.

  • Sensitive and skilled yoga instruction and embodiment practices (that encourage self-compassion and real-ness vs. spiritually bypassing).

  • Contemplative nature-connection and time to "just be".

  • To feel like your grief and depth are just as welcome as your joy

  • To deconstruct Modern Motherhood, dream into a “ReVillaged” version, and contemplate (together) the practical steps to get there.

  • To reflect on the what the “meat and potatoes” of community and friendships is to you, and find (or create) your wider mothering village.

  • To take a little pressure off your partner or close friends to meet ALL your needs for feeling seen, felt, and understood.

  • Enjoy deep quiet and joyful laughter with other Soulful Mommas.

"ReVillager":

"Someone dedicated to the dismantling of internalized hyperindividualism, who increasingly seeks to solve problems and increase their quality of life through connection, support, and interdependence."
~ Beth Berry

WHAT TO EXPECT

Modern Motherhood can leave women struggling with everything from social isolation, mood-disorders, and health challenges …to dealing with the near-constant ache for a more organic and effortless community for themselves and their families.

These retreats will explore some of the qualities, mindsets, and tools you can use in your journey of embracing motherhood as a welcome rite of passage towards “ReVillaging” (finding or building the support, community, friendships, and connections you dream of). Through song, gentle yoga, relaxation and meditation practices, nature-connection, partner exercises, journal-prompts, and sharing circlesyou will walk away feeling nourished by heart-felt community.

WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING

"These women are truly gentle and welcoming in their presence. The warmness I experienced allowed me to be vulnerable and self-accepting in a way that I never thought possible. The opportunity to truly let go and heal in a community of other women is exactly what I have needed. The space to explore my inner world without needing to be anything on the outside is such an important practice. These women have helped me navigate what it means to be ME, a woman, mother, human being, and last but not least, a deeply feeling soul."

~ Jackie Griffith

So glad I decided to go to this event. I have been looking for ways to connect intentionally with other women, and this was the perfect way to do that. I appreciated the thoughtful and skillful facilitation of our time together.

"I had some speculations that there would be more "lecturing" and I was happy there was not. This exceedded my expectations. I thought there might be forced sharing, but it was very organic and a "no pressure" vibe I loved. ~Anonymous

I had had high expectations that were very much met. The [timing/spacing of sessions] was perfect - nothing felt too rushed or too long. [The retreat] is a nourishing and healing space that helped me connect to the present moment, myself, and other wonderful women. It restored my faith in the future my daughter will live in". ~Anonymous
